Here are a list of questions we are frequently asked. Do not worry, it's perfectly fine to be curious.
At Partage, our mission is to create a sustainable environment for the future generations by harnessing the circular economy movement and allowing our users to dispose their items in a more timely and hassle-free manner. We aim to develop a network where people can donate and retrieve all kinds of items. These items can be exchanged for points, allowing us to go out with the old and in with the new but without costing the planet.
There are 5 ways to earn points.

  1. Complete your account details – Once you fully completed your account details, you earn 3 points.
  2. Invite your friends – We provide you a link that you can share with your friends and invite more people to join our platform. For each successful invite, you will be rewarded with 2 points on your account.
  3. List items – The more items you list on our platform, the more points you will gain.
  4. Get a premium account – It allows you to get 10 points at the beginning of every month. (Not available at the moment)
  5. Move from a profile badge to the next – When you upgrade, you get points for every profile badge level you pass.
For now, Partage is operating in the UK and France.
Our organisation has partnerships with various parcel delivery services. These parcel delivery companies will help you get goods/items get delivered to you. Several delivery options will be suggested to you depending on your preferences.
As well as exchanging goods and items on our website, you can use your points to get offers and vouchers posted on our website by our partners. Please look for the ‘Special offers’ option available at the top right-hand side of our homepage.
Any item that still has use value and can be reused by someone else in the community can be listed. Furniture, books, clothes, shoes, electronics, etc... are some examples of the products that you can post on the website.

Partage is always here to help and answer your questions. We aim to resolve your queries within 24 hours. Please look for the ‘Contact us’ option present at the bottom of our page.
The profile badges are indicators of how experienced the other users are. A new user starts with the badge of “Newbie” and gradually ascends the hierarchy depending on the number of items listed and confirmed. Here are the different profile badges:

  1. Newbie – Less than 5 items confirmed.
  2. Beginner – Between 5 and 15 items confirmed.
  3. Enthusiast – Between 16 and 30 items confirmed.
  4. Expert – Between 31 and 50 items confirmed.
  5. Serial Partager – More than 50 items confirmed.
Our platform allows users to post all kinds of items that can be exchanged and reused in the society. However, we cannot allow exchange of animals, any alcoholic drinks due to legal restrictions and perishable items because of their short life span.
Listing an item on Partage is a very simple and easy process!

First, you have to create an account on our website. It will allow you to track the items that you have listed or retrieved in the past. You can use the option ‘Login/Register’ at the top right-hand side of the homepage to register with your email or any Google account.

After successful registration, you can find the ‘List Item’ option at the top in the middle of the home page next to the long rectangular search bar.

From there, you can add the ‘Title’, ‘Category’, ‘Item Condition’, ‘Description’ of the item that you wish to list on our platform and the ‘Postcode’ where you reside. We also encourage our users to attach multiple pictures of their items as this increases the chances of your item to be noticed on our platform.

After filling all the details, simply click on the green ‘List Item’ option at the end and we will verify your post in no time!
Guidelines of Partage are as follows:

  1. Only reach out to the owner if you are genuinely interested in the item.
  2. Do not offer any money in exchange of any item.
  3. Do not try to bargain and reduce the number of points listed on the item.
  4. There is no need to ask the Partager if the item is still available. An item that is no longer available is automatically removed from the search results or the browse area.
There is no limit to the number of items that a single user can post through an account! We allow our users to post as many items as they like to dispose or give to the community.
Our platform is designed to allow extensive item tracking by our users. After logging into your account, at the top right-hand side of the home page, you will find your profile picture and initials. Clicking here will give you multiple options including ‘Dashboard’. From the Dashboard, you can view all the items that you have listed, the items that are active, inactive or previously exchanged.
We allow our users to update their information every time they relocate or change their contact details. After logging into your account, on the top right-hand side of the home page, you will find your profile picture and initials. Clicking here will give you multiple options. Selecting ‘Account Details’ from the list gives you access to your private account information including your contact details which you can edit from here.
We allow our users to keep a track of their gained points. After logging in your account, on the top right-hand side of the home page, you will find the option ‘My Account’. Clicking on this option will give you multiple options including the option ‘Dashboard’. From there, if you click on 'My points' you will have an overview of your current number of points as well as your points history.
Partage is a professionally designed website and can be accessed through various devices like mobile phone, laptop, desktop, and tablet.
Yes! Partage allows users to save items for later by clicking the ‘Add to Watchlist’ button on the page of the item that you like. You can also add to your Watchlist from the 'Browse' page by clicking on the 'Heart' icon. You can access your ‘Watchlist’ by clicking on the ‘My Account’ button at the top right-hand side of the home page, you must then select ‘Watchlist’ from the list of options.”
Yes! Partage allows its users to share an item on multiple social media platforms. When you are on the page of the item that you want to share, you will find various options in the middle left hand side of the page. Clicking on those icons of different social media platforms would allow you to post or share the item with your friends.
At Partage, we encourage our customers to adhere to the guidelines provided by us to ensure that the website is a safe and secure platform for people of every age to use. However, we would be happy to look into any item reported by our users that might not be suitable for the website. When you are on the page of the item that you want to report, you will find an option in the middle left hand side of the page which says ‘Report Item’. Clicking this option will redirect you to another page where you could list your reason and give a description as to why you believe that the item listed is inappropriate for the website.
A premium account allows you to benefit from these features:

  1. Exclusivity on all items listed on the website for less than 1 hour.
  2. 10 points at the beginning of each month.
  3. Special offers for premium users only.
  4. Receive notifications when an item you wish to acquire is put online.
The suggested points are calculated by our internal algorithm that takes into account the category and condition of the items you want to list.
